From a Father's Perspective

I just found this in some old blog drafs and thought I would post it. I didn't even kno whe had written this

From a Father's Perspective:

I was at work and received a call from Catherine saying she had been having contractions since 10:00am. It was very close to noon when she called. I went home and at 1:30pm we were at the clinic when our midwife checked her dilation progress. She said, 'Guess what number she's at?' It just so happened that she was at a 7.5. We decided it would be best if we went to the hospital. It took us 10 minutes to get there and by the time we got there Catherine was at a 9. We spent a total of 1 hour (more or less) in the delivery room, and 19 minutes of pushing and then...we were parents.

Catherine was great. She didn't use any medications and I was so amazed at how well she handled the pain. I was so impressed with her.

Jayden was 7lbs 3oz, 19 inches long. He has a head full of black hair. He's pretty calm, rarely cries (at least for now) and really likes to nurse. It's good to be home where we feel comfortable.

It's a little overwhelming thinking that I'll be a father for eternity - but somehow...it just feels right.

Happy Birthday B Man

Can you believe it has been two years since this little man was born

Bman loves sports so I made him a sports cake although he ate a big chunk out of it before I was able to frost it completely. This was my patch job.
He enjoyed his birthday cake a lot. That is what he was asking for all day
This is his cute outfit from nana. He was posing by saying a prayer when I took his picture.

This is his adorable sports outfit from my parents. He loves it can calls it his football clothes.

But by far the winning present of the day was this tunnel from his aunt Kelsey and uncle Ty. Both boys love playing in it.

Here are somethings about B-Man
1. He really loves letters right now and almost knows them all. He loves to learn and knows most of his shapes and quite a few colors
2. He loves to run and play outside that is one of his favorite places to be
3. He loves sports and tries to play different ones all the time
4. He is very friendly and loves to play with all children. He is daring and will try almost anything
5. He loves animals, dancing and music
6. Most of all he loves his big brother and always wants to be around him. He cries whenever we drop Jman at school.

We love you Bman and we are excited to watch you grow each day.
